Founded in 1899 in our original premises on Beaconsfield Street In Acomb, we moved in 1970 to our current premises on Front Street, Acomb and we are still going into our 125 year of trading.
Our Facilities
Our facilities include a large function room that seats upto 300 people and holds upto 450 standing (that we hire out for a vast range of events for a charge), a large games room with dart boards, snooker and pool tables, TV’s and games.
We also have a quiet comfortable lounge and a fantastic smoking area to the side of the club.
2023/24 bookings for our function room are now been taken.
We can cater for almost any event from one off concerts/music events/sporting events/birthday celebrations & anniversaries or a wake/memorial for a departed loved one.
If you are looking for space to hold a band practice/shooting a music video/health & fitness classes etc we can cater for almost anything
